UCTalent Terms of Services

UCTalent is a Web3 job platform powered by blockchain and AI. These terms of service govern your access to and use of UCTalent's services.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using UCTalent, you agree to be bound by these terms of service in their entirety. If you do not agree to these terms of service, you may not access or use UCTalent.

2. Eligibility

• If you are entering into these Terms as an individual, then you are of legal age in the jurisdiction in which you reside and you have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms and be bound by them;
• If you are entering into these Terms as an entity, then you must have the legal authority to accept these Terms on that entity's behalf, in which case "you" (except as used in this paragraph) will mean that entity;

3. Services

UCTalent provides a platform for users to connect professionally, discover opportunities, and learn about Web3. UCTalent is not a financial advisor or broker and does not provide investment advice.

4. User Conduct

You agree to use UCTalent in a responsible and lawful manner. You may not use UCTalent to:

• Infringe on the intellectual property rights of others
• Engage in cyberattacks
• Defraud or misrepresent yourself
• Manipulate markets
• Sell stolen property
• Mine or scrape data
• Post objectionable content
• Engage in any other unlawful conduct

5. Risk Disclosure

UCTalent is a decentralized platform, and your use of UCTalent is subject to the risks inherent in decentralized technologies, including smart contract bugs, security vulnerabilities, and market volatility.

6. Modifications

UCTalent reserves the right to modify these terms of service at any time. We will notify you of any material changes by updating the date at the top of these terms of service and by maintaining an updated version of these terms of service on our website.

7. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless UCTalent from any and all claims, losses, damages, liabilities, expenses, and costs (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or in connection with your use of UCTalent.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

UCTalent is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We make no warranties, express or implied, of any kind, including, but not limited to, the implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, and non-infringement.

9. Limitation of Liability

In no event shall UCTalent be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or exemplary damages arising out of or in connection with your use of UCTalent, even if UCTalent has been advised of the possibility of such damages.

10. Entire Agreement

These terms of service constitute the entire agreement between you and UCTalent with respect to your use of UCTalent.

11. Governing Law

These terms of service shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Singapore, without giving effect to any conflict of laws principles.

12. Severability

If any provision of these terms of service is held to be invalid or unenforceable, such provision shall be struck from these terms of service and the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.

13. Waiver

No waiver of any provision of these terms of service shall be effective unless in writing and signed by UCTalent.

14. Notices

All notices and communications hereunder shall be in writing and shall be deemed to have been duly given when delivered in person, upon the first business day following deposit in the registered mail, postage prepaid, certified or registered, return receipt requested, addressed as follows:

15. Assignment

You may not assign these terms of service without the prior written consent of UCTalent. UCTalent may assign these terms of service without your consent.

16. Counterparts

These terms of service may be executed in one or more counterparts, each of which shall be deemed an original, but all of which together shall constitute one and the same instrument.

17. Profile Recommendation Job Alerts

UCTalent provides a default job alert named "Profile Recommendation Jobs" based on your profile information. You can adjust the frequency of this alert (weekly, monthly, quarterly) to control how often you receive notifications. Pausing this specific alert is not currently an option. UCTalent aims to keep you informed about relevant opportunities based on your profile, and this alert ensures you don't miss out on potential matches.

18. Updates to Terms of Service

We may update these terms of service to reflect changes in our services or to address legal or security issues. We will notify you of any material changes by updating the date at the top of these terms of service and by maintaining an updated version on our website.

19. Your Continued Use

Your continued use of UCTalent after we post any revisions to these terms of service signifies your acceptance of the revised terms.
