About the Job
As a Technical Writer at Decentralab, you will be instrumental in crafting clear, concise, and engaging documentation that helps users and developers navigate our platform effectively. You will work closely with product managers, engineers, and the marketing team to produce user guides, API documentation, tutorials, and educational materials that align with our mission to make DeFi more accessible.
Responsibilities
Documentation Development:
- Create and maintain user manuals, API documentation, FAQs, and onboarding guides.
- Develop tutorials and guides to explain complex concepts in a simplified manner.
- Ensure all documentation is accurate, consistent, and aligned with the project’s tone and branding.
- Continuously update and improve documentation based on user feedback and platform updates.
- Collaborate with the product team to understand new features and translate technical details into user-friendly content.
- Work with the marketing team to create educational materials such as blog posts, whitepapers, and case studies.
- Create resources to educate users on DeFi, copy trading, and blockchain technology.
- Develop scripts for explainer videos, webinars, and other multimedia content.
Minimum Qualifications
- Experience: 1+ years as a technical/content writer in the tech, fintech, or blockchain industry.
- Writing Skills: Exceptional ability to write clear and concise content tailored to diverse audiences.
- Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with blockchain, DeFi, and trading concepts. Experience with APIs is a plus.
- Research Skills: Ability to quickly learn complex topics and translate them into accessible materials.
- Collaboration: Strong interpersonal skills to work effectively with technical and non-technical teams.
Preferred Requirement
- Hands-on experience with decentralized exchanges and trading platforms.
- Knowledge of scripting or basic coding to understand developer workflows.
- Familiarity with SEO principles for creating discoverable documentation.
- Experience in multimedia content creation (e.g., video tutorials).
