Join Gelato, an all-in-one Ethereum Rollup as a Service Platform, as a key member of our fully remote team. We are revolutionizing blockchain infrastructure by enabling the creation and deployment of fully serviced Layer 2 chains on platforms like Arbitrum, Optimism, and Polygon. In this role, you will master diverse Ethereum Rollup technologies, architect decentralized networks, and innovate within Rollup ecosystems. You will have the opportunity to work with cutting-edge technologies while contributing to the future of Web3 development.
Responsibilities
- Master Ethereum Rollup technologies, preparing for deployment, operation, debugging, and enhancement activities.
- Architect a decentralized network focused on scalability, managing sequencer and RPC node infrastructure for high transaction volumes.
- Deepen expertise in Zero Knowledge proofs and work with ZK-EVM stacks to enhance privacy and scalability.
- Take full ownership of your code, ensuring robust deployment and real-time monitoring in collaboration with the Infrastructure team.
- Innovate within Rollup ecosystems by designing and implementing features like Decentralized Sequencing and trust-minimized off-chain computation.
- Enhance network security by identifying potential attack vectors and establishing reproducible testing environments.
Minimum Qualifications
- Ability to work autonomously from research to deployment and monitoring of your code.
- Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
- Comfortable with both DevOps and Software Engineering practices.
- Extensive experience in shipping production-grade code handling thousands of user interactions or transactions.
- In-depth knowledge of Ethereum client architecture, especially the EVM execution client (Geth).
- Strong understanding of various Ethereum rollup clients and their underlying components.
- 8+ years of experience with Golang, Rust, or C++.
- 2+ years of experience in DevOps (Terraform, Ansible, GCP/AWS, Docker, Kubernetes).
- 3+ years of experience with p2p network technologies (libp2p).
- 3+ years of experience with Web3 libraries and backend development (e.g., ethers.js).
- 2+ years of experience with Node.js/TypeScript and Solidity.
- Strong experience with high-throughput database systems and maintaining scalable microservices.
- B.S. or higher in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
