About the Job
We seek an experienced and motivated Lead Blockchain Developer to join our dynamic and distributed team. This fully remote position requires expertise in JavaScript (JS), Rust, and Solidity. As a Lead Developer, you will oversee the development process, ensure high code quality, and drive collaboration among team members. Your role will be pivotal in shaping our blockchain solutions while maintaining best practices and efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Technical Leadership: Guide the development team with best practices, architectural decisions, and technical strategies.
- Code Review & Quality Assurance: Assess code contributions for adherence to standards and merge approved code seamlessly.
- Collaboration: Work closely with stakeholders to define project requirements and technical specifications.
- Decision-Making: Lead technical discussions and ensure alignment with project goals.
- Troubleshooting & Debugging: Maintain application performance and reliability.
- Documentation: Maintain coding standards, development processes, and project workflows.
- Innovation: Stay updated with the latest industry trends and emerging blockchain technologies.
Minimum Qualifications
- Strong JavaScript, Solidity, and Rust expertise with a deep understanding of their ecosystems.
- 13+ years of experience in software development with 6+ years in Blockchain.
- Proven track record in a lead developer or similar role, preferably in remote settings.
- Hands-on experience in code review and merging best practices.
- Proficiency with version control systems (Git) and CI/CD pipelines.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive technical approach.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to explain complex concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a distributed team and manage multiple priorities effectively.
Preferred Requirement
- Experience with Agile development methodologies.
- Familiarity with microservices architecture and cloud services.
- Knowledge of containerization (Docker) and orchestration tools (Kubernetes) is a plus.
