About the Job
The ideal candidate for the Human Capital Manager & Recruitment Lead role at the Blockchain & Climate Institute (BCI) should possess a strong educational background and relevant experience in human resources or organizational management. A degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Environmental Science, or a related field is preferred. Candidates should have a proven track record in human capital administration, showcasing their ability to manage recruitment processes effectively. Strong organizational skills are essential, as the role requires balancing multiple tasks and projects simultaneously. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are necessary for engaging with diverse stakeholders and fostering professional relationships. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite is required, along with a solid understanding of GDPR compliance and data protection practices. Additionally, candidates should have a keen interest in climate change and emerging technologies, particularly blockchain, to align with BCI's mission of leveraging technology for environmental good. Experience in building constructive relationships and working collaboratively in teams is crucial, as is the ability to work independently and take initiative in problem-solving.
Responsibilities
  1. Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Environmental Science, or a related field.
  2. Proven experience in human capital administration or recruitment.
  3. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
  4. Excellent verbal and written communication skills for stakeholder engagement.
  5. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with HR management software.
  6. Knowledge of GDPR compliance and a strong interest in climate change and blockchain technology.

Minimum Qualifications
  1. Coordinate recruitment administrative support to ensure an efficient hiring process.
  2. Liaise with BCI members regarding human capital and recruitment policies.
  3. Manage compliance with GDPR regulations in all recruitment activities.
  4. Oversee the recruitment team, providing guidance and support for effective operations.
  5. Build and maintain constructive relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  6. Lead and manage recruitment-related projects from inception to completion, utilizing initiative and problem-solving skills.
