About the Job
SotaTek’s partner works with respected financial institutions, delivering products and tailor-made solutions for retail and brokerage houses, exchanges, and buy-side firms. The company focuses on trading platforms and brokerage automation, complex software development projects, market data products, and IT consulting services.
Responsibilities
  • Handle end to end software development life cycle
  • Application development/unit testing
  • Make Detail Design, Coding, UT and implement Java-based applications.
  • Guiding junior developers
  • Brainstorming various strategies to deliver optimum and high-quality code.
Minimum Qualifications
Hard Skills:
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in Java backend development.
  • Strong knowledge of Spring Core and Spring Boot frameworks.
  • Solid understanding of test-driven development (TDD) and experience with tools like JUnit or Mockito.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD processes and tools.
  • Previous experience in modernizing legacy systems is a strong advantage.
Soft Skills:
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, especially in cross-functional teams.
  • Self-driven with the ability to work independently when required.
  • Problem-solving mindset with attention to detail.
  • Ability to thrive in fast-paced environments and adapt to evolving requirements.
