About the Job
Ninety Eight is seeking a highly motivated Back-end Developer to join our team. As a Back-end Developer, you will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining the back-end infrastructure that powers our platform. You will work closely with our front-end developers, product managers, and designers to ensure that our platform is fast, reliable, and scalable.
Responsibilities
- Analyze requirements with the team to help design system architecture.
- Building REST APIs using Java/ Node JS.
- Write and perform unit tests for your work.
- Developing low-latency, high-availability, scalability, and security for game services.
- Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code.
Minimum Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in building backend solutions using Java/ NodeJS
- Experience in developing online game systems is a plus
- Strong experience with RDBMS like MySQL, PostgreSQL
- Experience with NoSQL databases, such as MongoDB is a plus
- Experience in design pattern and OOP
- Working knowledge of REST API design
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automation tools
- Working experience in linux environment, AWS or other cloud platform
- Experience in using docker, kubernetes is a plus
- Interested in Blockchain, and experiences web3 is a plus
- Self-adaptability & good research skills
- Strong research, debugging, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage tasks independently and take ownership of responsibilities
- Ability to adapt to a rapidly changing environment
