UCTalent is currently representing a leading Southeast Asian Circular Tech company that is redefining how businesses and consumers access technology. Our client operates at the intersection of Fintech, Sustainability, and Embedded Finance, providing a sustainable subscription model for high-end devices in partnership with global tech giants like Samsung.We are looking for a Senior QA Engineer who cares deeply about system behavior and edge cases. This is not a manual-only role; you will be an integral part of the engineering team, designing strategies to ensure a reliable and scalable platform.
Responsibilities
- End-to-End Quality: Own the quality lifecycle for customer-facing apps, partner platforms, and internal backend services.
- Critical Flow Validation: Test complex workflows involving Billing, Payments, and Asset Lifecycle management.
- Automation Suites: Design and maintain automated test suites (API, Integration, E2E) within a modern Go / Python / NextJS stack.
- CI/CD Integration: Implement and manage quality gates in CI/CD pipelines to ensure safe and frequent delivery.
- Prevention Mindset: Participate in incident reviews and identify failure modes early to prevent recurring issues.
- Engineering Partnership: Work closely with Developers and Product Managers to define testability and acceptance criteria.
Minimum Qualifications
- 4+ years of experience in QA or Quality Engineering roles.
- Strong experience with test automation (API + integration preferred).
- Ability to read and reason about code (Golang, Python, or JavaScript).
- Experience testing distributed systems or backend-heavy products.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and quality gates.
- English proficiency: Sufficiently good to not disrupt work; able to understand team colleagues in English.
Preferred Requirement
- Experience testing payments, billing, subscriptions, or fintech systems.
- Exposure to E2E frameworks (Playwright, Cypress, Selenium, etc.).
- Experience with API testing tools (Postman, REST clients, custom frameworks).
- Familiarity with observability tools (logs, metrics, traces).
- Experience working with PostgreSQL or data-heavy systems.
- A mindset of prevention over detection.

- Salary: 2,500 - 4,000 SGD (GROSS - MONTHLY).
