About the Job
The Software Product Tester is a key member of our product development team, responsible for conducting manual tests to ensure our software products meet our high standards of quality, usability, and reliability before they reach our customers. This role involves a detailed evaluation of software functionalities, user interface, performance, and overall user experience. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, a passion for quality, and a commitment to delivering exceptional products to users.
Responsibilities
- Execute detailed manual testing of software products to identify issues with usability, functionality, and performance.
- Collaborate with product managers and developers to understand product requirements and ensure they are fully tested.
- Create, manage, and execute test plans and test cases that cover all aspects of product quality.
- Identify, document, and report bugs and issues within the software, working closely with the development team to prioritize and resolve them.
- Perform regression testing, usability testing, and compatibility testing as needed.
- Provide feedback on product design and functionality to improve user experience.
- Participate in product design reviews to provide input on functional requirements, product designs, schedules, or potential problems.
- Review user interfaces for consistency and functionality.
- Ensure that all testing procedures follow company and industry standards and guidelines.
- Keep updated with the latest testing tools and strategies.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field preferred.
- Have 2+ years of experience in manual testing.
- Strong understanding of QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
- Experience developing test plans, test cases, and doing risk analysis.
- Must have: Experience in testing games domain, experience in testing card games is a plus.
- Knowledge of API testing using Postman, RestAssured, or similar tools.
- Excellent troubleshooting skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in documenting bugs and creating reports.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Familiarity with Agile frameworks and regression testing.
Preferred Requirement
- Experience in automation testing using tools such as Selenium, Cypress, JUnit, TestNG, or similar is a big plus
- Hands-on experience with testing tools and software is a plus.
- Have certifications such as ISTQB or CSTE is a plus.
